Duofold site put before developers Utica Observer-Dispatch (NY) June 14, 2019 ILION - John Piseck, executive director of the Herkimer County Industrial Development Agency, had the opportunity to promote the Morgan-Duofold site earlier this week. Piseck said that during the fourth annual New York State Redevelopment Summit: Pathways to Revitalization Summit in Albany, he was selected to present the property to developers. He said the event allowed for officials to see what the developers’ “thoughts are on the property and also, hopefully, find one that would like to develop.” The village of Ilion purchased the Duofold site earlier this year for a nominal fee, though an amount wasn’t disclosed.
