DEC to resume brownfield probe at Niagara Falls' Niacet plant By Thomas J. Prohaska| Buffalo News (NY) July 29, 2019 The state Department of Environmental Conservation has announced that it plans to resume its investigation of soil contamination at the Niacet Corp. plant in Niagara Falls. In 2013 and 2014, soil contaminated with mercury was removed from the 19-acre site at 47th Street and Niagara Falls Boulevard.
