Review set today for brownfield cleanup plan

In an effort to conduct a brownfield cleanup of six contiguous properties it owns — two in Windsor and four in Hartford — the nonprofit Riverfront Recapture is applying for a grant from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the public is invited to review the application and comment on it at a meeting this afternoon.

The meeting begins at 5 p.m. at the Greater Hartford Jaycees Community Boathouse in Riverside Park, Leibert Road in Hartford.

The public will also be able to review the Hartford-based Riverfront Recapture’s draft analysis of brownfield cleanup alternatives of the six properties, two on Meadow Road in Windsor and four on Leibert Road in Hartford.
