KAAP panel hires executive director

The Kansas Army Ammunition Plant Local Redevelopment Planning Authority 
has hired retired Air Force Col. Dan Goddard of Denver, Ind., as its 
executive director.

Goddard spent from 1994 to 2005 as the executive director of the Grissom 
Redevelopment Authority Inc.

"All of his references were excellent and everyone in the Office of 
Economic Adjustment spoke highly of him," said executive committee 
member Jerry Carson. "He did so well at Grissom, he basically worked 
himself out of a job."
