Roddy Stinson: For neighbors of Kelly, more good, bad news

Longtime residential neighbors of former Kelly Air Force Base will 
breathe, at best, shallow sighs of relief on reading the latest - and 
final - federal report about the extent to which they were exposed to 
hazardous contaminants during the decades the base was in operation.

The Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry, which has been 
gathering, analyzing and publishing information about Kelly-generated 
environmental contamination since the late 1990s, saved one of the most 
interesting areas of investigation - "Past Air Emissions" - for last.

In a recently released 108-page "Health Consultation" report, ATSDR 
researchers had some good news, some bad news and some 
who-the-deuce-can-say news for Kelly's neighbors.
