Panel renews efforts on Navy base property Group tries to show U.S. two counties are cooperating By Fanny S. Chirinos Corpus Christi Caller-Times (TX) January 13, 2007The Coastal Bend Redevelopment Planning Committee, the group figuring out what to do with Naval Station Ingleside when the Navy leaves, is thinking about making changes in its membership to show the federal officials holding the purse strings that San Patricio and Nueces counties are cooperating. The group's executive committee, made up of area elected and appointed officials and business leaders, talked Friday about replacing voting members Roland Mower, executive director of the Corpus Christi Regional Economic Corp.; Terry Carter, president and CEO of the Corpus Christi Chamber of Commerce; and Tony Eichstadt, plant manager of DuPont Fluoroproducts in Ingleside.
