Subject: | TAPP Application process |
DOD has prepared brochure outlining the TAPP process. Previously we have posted information about who qualifies for TAPP, what type of projects are and are not eligible for technical assistance, and how much funding is available. Below is some basic information on how to begin the TAPP application process: 1. Community RAB (or TRC) members agree on a TAPP project. 2. Fill out the application (you can request a copy from your installation or CAREER/PRO can also provide you with a copy) 3. Indicate the type of technical assistance you require. 4. Identify potential service providers that offer the technical assistance you need. 5. Certify that alternative technical assistance sources do not exist to fit your needs. 6. Submit the application to the Installation Commander for review and approval. 7. evaluate DOD's proposed provider if different from your list of potential providers. 8. Obtain assistance via DOD purchase order. 9. Work with provider to complete the scope of work. 10. Prepare and submit a closeout report. TAPP points of contact for the Service Branches are: Army (410) 671-1525 Navy (703) 602-5330 Air Force (703) 697-3427 FUDS (202) 761-1594 DLA (703) 767-6242 DOD (703) 697-5372 ******************************* Aimee Houghton CAREER/PRO | |
