Subject: | Do explosive compounds and other range materials bioaccumulate? |
Does anyone know whether explosive compounds or other range materials bioaccumulate in flora or fauna? If deer or other animals are drinking from ponded sites on an old range where old RDX and other compounds were present from runoff in the region of an impact area, would this present any hazard to the food chain, such as hunters eating those deer, or fox/hawks eating mice, and so on?
