World War II Shell Found in Germany 

BERLIN (AP) - A World War II artillery shell was discovered on the tracks
of a commuter train line Monday, disrupting morning rush hour traffic as
explosives experts defused it, police said.

 Track workers discovered the 120 mm Soviet shell between stations in the
western district of Schoeneberg. Police spokesman Uwe Kozelnik said it was
a type fired from grenade launchers that generally no longer poses a
danger. Still, train traffic was stopped for half an hour to allow removal
of the shell.
