Track workers discovered the 120 mm Soviet shell between stations in the western district of Schoeneberg. Police spokesman Uwe Kozelnik said it was a type fired from grenade launchers that generally no longer poses a danger. Still, train traffic was stopped for half an hour to allow removal of the shell.
