[SENT BY PETER STRAUSS (petestrauss1@attbi.com)] I was wondering something else about this arrangement. Say the U.S. in in an unpopular war, and there are enough citizens in San Antonio to oppose it. Could the City decide that it would revoke the lease, or decide that it could not be used in support of war efforts? Maybe we should encourage more Cities to enter into these agreements if the City can indirectly assert itself at a grassroots level. Peter | |
