Subject: | [CPEO-MEF] Projection of FUDS program completion |
At a recent CPEO-sponsored forum on Formerly Used Defense Sites (FUDS), Army spokesmen hinted that the estimated cost-to-complete for the FUDS program might rise this year to somewhere around $17 billion. One of the community participants, Mark F. Bohne of Milan, Ohio used that likely figure to calculate how long it might take to complete the currently anticipated FUDS effort. This is the table he created. Please note that it doesn't assume any inflation figures, nor does it assume that Congress will increase the programmed budget each year. To line the columns up, copy the table to a word processor and apply a monospace font such as Courier.
