Westchester County Airport cleans up its actBy Martin B. Cassidy Greenwich Time (CT) October 18, 2004 After three years of working to clean up its act, Westchester County Airport has become the third airport in the nation to meet international environmental standards established to protect natural resources. Residents of Greenwich and other nearby communities have long been concerned about noise and air pollution from the airport and potential environmental harm from chemical and fuel runoff.
