DEQ seeks input on proposed cleanup of Kagman dumpsite

The Division of Environmental Quality is asking members of the CNMI 
community to provide inputs to the proposed cleanup of the Kagman 
Airfield Dumpsite.

According to the DEQ public information officer Reina Camacho the 
environmental agency wants the public to provide comments on the 
proposed plan to clean up the former Kagman Airfield Dumpsite by April 7.

Camacho said that last week, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers conducted 
a public forum at the Kagman High School cafeteria to discuss the plan 
to clean up the former dumpsite.
