McCoy Annex site sells for $2.3M
The deal includes contaminated land at the old Boggy Creek Golf Club in 
south Orlando.

The U.S. Navy, which closed its giant Orlando training center a decade 
ago, has found a buyer for the last substantial piece of the former 
McCoy Annex that it still owns.

The former Boggy Creek Golf Club and 25 acres of industrial land 
alongside it in south Orlando have been sold in an online auction for 
$2.3 million to Brian Mulvaney, brother of recent mayoral candidate Ken 
Mulvaney.

Mulvaney said Thursday he plans to develop mixed-use industrial 
projects, including warehouses, on the 177 acres. Mulvaney said he was 
one of only two bidders, with the opening bid starting at $2 million.
