Entrepreneur Norm Johnston wants Ohio to build solar fields to generate jobs

Solar entrepreneur Norm Johnston thinks one of the cures for Ohio's 
economic malaise is sitting in a grassy field at the Ohio Air National 
Guard 180th Fighter Wing.

There, 11,000 solar panels sit on five acres, soon to be 20,000 panels 
occupying seven acres.

When completed the solar field will generate up to 1.8 megawatts 
(1,800,000 watts). The electricity the field already makes is wired 
directly into the jet base, replacing power that would have come from 
Toledo Edison.
