Onizuka Air Force land transfer in Sunnyvale complete by Nathan Donato-Weinstein Silicon Valley Business Journal June 6, 2013Eight years after being selected for closure, the Onizuka Air Force Station has been divvied up and distributed to new owners. The final 19 acres were transfered last week among the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, the city of Sunnyvale and the Foothill-De Anza Community College District, according to a news release issued by the Air Force Civil Engineer Center.
