‘Significant’ number of munitions left at Marpi Point Field, says Army Corps contractor By Alexie Villegas Zotomayor Marianas Variety (CNMI) January 18, 2015 THERE’S a significant number of munitions left at the former Marpi Point Field on Saipan. U.S. Army Corps contractor Parsons, through project manager Don M. Silkebakken, led a public hearing at American Memorial Park on Thursday night where they shared updates about the project and what are still in the pipeline. Silkebakken said that there remains a significant number of munitions at the Mapi Point Field.
