Court: Bethpage Water District filed contamination suit too late Lawsuit sought unspecified amount for groundwater treatment at Northrop Grumman site. District plans to appeal court decision, general counsel says. By Emily C. Dooley Long Island Newsday (NY) March 5, 2018 The Bethpage Water District lawsuit against Northrop Grumman Corp. hit another snag after a federal appeals court affirmed a lower ruling dismissing the case, saying the utility waited too long to seek relief over groundwater contamination.
