Bombing range research to be revealed to community My Horry News (SC) April 13, 2018 The research is not ready to be unveiled yet. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers recently conducted an investigation into “possible hazards or contamination” at the former bombing range that much of Carolina Forest sits on, and its findings are expected to be made public in the coming months. The Corps had hoped to hold a public meeting this month to discuss the results of the investigation.
