Emery, It might be instructive to compare the handling of the arsenic site with the recent response at the former defense site in the wealthy, empowered Spring Valley neighborhood in DC. At Spring Valley, according to a friend, diversity is defined by which specialty of law one practices. I supported the demands of the Spring Valley residents for extensive testing throughout the neighborhood. The response of the responsible party (the Army Corps, in this case) there should set a standard for other neighborhoods elsewhere.
