Newbury project gets $11M in PENNVEST brownfield funds Pittsburgh Business Times (PA) November 3, 2008EQA Landmark Communities, based in Pittsburgh's Strip District neighborhood, has landed a fresh boost of funding to aid in the environmental remediation of its Newbury project, a $240 million mixed-use development planned for a 301-acre site that includes a 100-acre brownfield site in the suburb of South Fayette Township. EQA will receive an $11 million loan through Pennsylvania's PENNVEST's Brownfields Projects program. Brett Malky, president of EQA Landmark Communities, said the loan was key in enabling the project to go forward. ...
