Branstad signs brownfield tax credit

Gov. Terry Branstad signed into law Thursday a bill that could help  
with the redevelopment of old, vacant buildings in cities and towns  
across Iowa.

The legislation, Senate File 514, bumps up to $5 million tax credits  
available to redevelop buildings that are considered brownfield or  
grayfield properties.
