Grossinger’s Resort site cleaned up By Matthew Nanci Middletown Times Herald-Record (NY) September 12, 2019 LIBERTY - One year and about $6 million later, the grounds of the iconic Grossinger’s Resort are now a clean slate. Demolition began last summer and crews recently finished cleanup of the site, part of which was declared a brownfield site by the state Department of Environmental Conservation, according to property manager Henry Zabatta.
