Does anyone know? Is there a policy, at either the Defense Department or any of the federal land management agencies, addressing wildfires on land believed to be contaminated with unexploded ordnance? When should firefighters stay away? Are they receiving any special training? If, as I suspect, there is no formal policy, is anyone reviewing the issue?
