FY 2020 SERDP and ESTCP Supplemental Solicitations Released July 30, 2019
 
The Department of Defense’s Strategic Environmental Research and Development Program (SERDP) and Environmental Security Technology Certification Program (ESTCP) are seeking proposals for the development and demonstration of non-fluorine based firefighting formulations and/or technologies as candidates for funding beginning in Fiscal Year (FY) 2020. Projects will be selected through a competitive process.

Details are available on the SERDP and ESTCP website under Funding Opportunities.

The SERDP Solicitation provides funding opportunities for basic and applied research and advanced technology development while the ESTCP Solicitationseeks proposals for the demonstration and validation of environmental technologies. Projects in both programs vary in cost and duration consistent with the scope of the work proposed.

All proposals are due September 12, 2019 by 2:00 p.m. ET.

Webinar for the SERDP and ESTCP Solicitations: SERDP and ESTCP Director Dr. Herb Nelson and Weapons Systems and Platforms Program Manager Dr. Robin Nissan will conduct an online seminar “SERDP and ESTCP Funding Opportunities” on August 9, 2018, from 1:00-2:00 p.m. ET. This briefing will offer valuable information for those interested in new SERDP and ESTCP funding opportunities. During the online seminar, participants may ask questions about the funding process, the current SERDP and ESTCP solicitations, and the proposal submission process.
