----------------------------------------------------------- Let University of Phoenix make 2004 your year. Evening, weekend or FlexNet® classes – over 130 locations. Look into our programs and get the degree that gets you going! http://click.topica.com/caaciq1aVxieRa8xCZRa/UOP ----------------------------------------------------------- It is unfortunate that the people in these condos have to deal with this mess in Connecticut, but to be frank, it is only when groundwater plumes begin to impact luxury properties and the residences of elected officials will governments and industries take these releases and exposures more seriously. It is subtly interesting that the article indicates a venting system will be put in and that this will solve the problem. While it might, some of the contamination Lenny is tracking in California and the recent TCE risk assessment suggest that ambient air exposure may actually be a concern as well. It will be interesting to see how the DEP sells the fix and how long it will last. In general, this country is moving in the wrong direction with regard to addressing environmental contamination. Maybe the luxury condo factor will slowly turn er' around, Captain!
