There is much talk of 'historical archives' regarding closed and
transferring bases and how they play into site characterization.  Does 
anyone know if this pit found was referenced in any archives?  

I would like to know from others around the country how many of these
types of discoveries were written down in such historical archives by 
the military branches that used them.
